The French Baker is a Greytown bakery producing top-quality, authentic, artisan pastries and breads in true French fashion.
We love to see international foods being re-created with fresh New Zealand ingredients, especially when it’s combined with fabulous coffee.
This is a new wave of local bakery, out with the soggy, not-so fresh, in with the seating, the friendly staff, and the peaceful surrounds. Staples on the menu are baguettes, croissants, croustades and danishes.
Located in the landmark Lemon Tree Cottage, The French Baker serves Allpress coffee, and also stock local products, such as olive oils, and is open every day. They won an awarded Best Wairarapa Café, and also have a stall at the Wellington
